Stephen Page, Black Belt 1st DanPil Sung Do InstructorI always had an interest in martial arts and in my late teens / early twenties I started training in ITF Tae Kwon Do under Tony Sewell, three times world heavyweight champion. I also spent shorter spells training in Jujitsu and Kick Boxing.Like many of my contemporaries at the time I stopped training when I got married, but I never lost my interest in martial arts. When my daughter was 11 we looked around for something we both could take part in and came across Choi Kwang Do. We attended the very first CKD class at The Edge in Haslemere and we loved it. I have also been an assistant instructor since 2006. When the school transitioned to Pil Sung Do we stayed on to convert and it was a revelation, under PSD you feel that you are becoming a formidable martial artist with skills that cover every eventuality should you need to use your training. Under Grand Master Hammouda and Senior Masters Glossop and Grufferty we achieved our black belts and 1st degrees. We have both progressed under PSD so that my daughter is now an assistant instructor and I am an instructor, allowing me to achieve one of my objectives since starting in 2006: to help train the next generation of martial arts students.I cannot recommend Pil Sung Do highly enough. It is the best martial art and is also fun with a great family atmosphere
Andrew Jamieson’s Testimonial.I have only been practising Pil Sung Do for 2 months and I can already see big changes in my fitness, physique and general well-being.The masters are very friendly and are always at hand to continually assist and support my progress through training. It is useful that I am able to attend any of the classes that are scattered around Frimley, Guildford and Haslemere thus making it easier for me to go straight to class from work.’Andy
